• On 3rd March 2017, Calder was landing at LAX airport in Los Angeles with Tomlinson when a photographer and 3 female One Direction fans approached them.
• After the photographer startled Calder, Tomlinson began wrestling with him to shield her as she made her way to the exit of the building. However, while that was occurring, the fans approached Calder, with one of them beginning to film her from a phone.
• Calder tried to block herself by knocking the phone away, but that resulted in the 3 fans then pushing her into a corner and beginning to attack her.
• Tomlinson, in the process of helping Calder, knocked down 1 of the fans and was arrested on charges of simple battery. He spent an hour in jail for the issue, but no formal charges were laid.
