Donald Glover is an American actor, comedian, singer and producer. His stage name as a musician is Childish Gambino. Glover was born Donald McKinley Glover on September 25, 1983 in Lancaster, California. His mother, Beverly, is a former daycare worker, and his father, Donald Sr., a former postal worker. He has two siblings, Steve and Bree. Glover attended Stephenson High School followed by New York University. He graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts in 2006 with a degree in dramatic writing.

Glover made his television debut on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2005. He worked as a writer and executive editor for the NBC sitcom, 3’0 Rock (2006-09).
